English: Iizaka Onsen in Fukushima, Fukushima, is one of the largest hot spring resorts in Tōhoku region, Japan. The 17th century poet Matsuo Bashō wrote about Iizaka Onsen in his diary Oku no Hosomichi after he had spent several days during his journey. Nowadays Iizaka Onsen has more than 100 hotels/inns which are capable to host 11,000 tourists per day.
