English: These images use a coin to attempt to show the size of an object. This is discouraged because the sizes of coins are not internationally universally familiar. It is preferable to use a scale-marking (ruler, tape measure, etc). Using coins can also cause problems with internationalization or copyright.

Download an image from this category that does not already have a ruler.
Look up the coin's diameter in the table at Template:NoCoins, or look up the pictured object's size in Wikipedia.
Add a ruler using image editing software.
Upload the new version of the file.
Replace {{NoCoins}} with [[Category:Images with coins to indicate scale]]
Add [[Category:Images with rulers to indicate scale]]

NOTE

English: Do not use this category to classify images that uses coins to indicate color solely. Instead give those images the category Category:Images with coins to indicate color.
