English: The Jebel Akhdar or Akhdar Mountains, (Arabic: 'the Green Mountain' ), is a mountain range, and its Mediterranean woodlands and forests ecoregion habitats.

The mountain range is located in sections of the Al Jabal al Akhdar, Darnah, and Al Marj Districts — of the northern Cyrenaica region, in northeastern Libya.
The range, and its escarpments and wadis, lie between the Mediterranean Sea and the Libyan Desert section of the Sahara.
