CZ: Josef Hanzl (* 26. února 1903 – 24. října 1942 koncentrační tábor Mauthausen) byl člen sokolské organizace a zaměstnanec Českomoravských drah ve funkci skladníka drážního skladu v pražské Bubenči. Za protektorátu v domácím sokolském odboji podporoval penězi a potravinami rodiny zatčených a popravených příslušníků odboje, české vlastence, kteří byli nuceni žít v ilegalitě a proviantem zásoboval parašutisty v kryptě pravoslavného kostela v Resslově ulici v Praze.

EN: Josef Hanzl (* February 26, 1903 - October 24, 1942 Mauthausen concentration camp) was a member of the Sokol organization and an employee of the Czech-Moravian Railways as a warehouse keeper at the railway depot in Bubenč, Prague. During the Protectorate, he supported the families of arrested and executed members of the resistance, Czech patriots who were forced to live underground, with money and food, and supplied paratroopers in the crypt of the Orthodox Church in Resslova Street in Prague with provisions.
