The Ghanaian investment banker Kweku Mawuli Adoboli was born on the 21st of May, 1980 in Tema (Greater Accra Region, Ghana) as son of a Ghanaian diplomat. He is a criminal and international finance fraudster and was sentenced in November 2012 at first instance to seven years in prison by an London court because of fraud. An appeal failed in 2014. In 2015 he was discharged from prison because of good conduct. The British authorities have disposed his deportation to Ghana in 2016 and have imposed a lifelong disqualification from this profession on him.
