English: Layd Church in the townland of Moneyvart close to Cushendall in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, is a protected monument in state care with SMR Number ANT 015:001. This church is traditionally believed to be Franciscan but there exist no reliable evidence for this. The church is mentioned in the taxation roll of c. 1300 and was used as a parish church of the Cushendall area until 1790. (See D. A.
