English: The earliest publication date from maps in this category states 1674. It was republished, among other dates, in 1684, 1691, 1695, 1706 and 1719 (maps are sorted chronologically). Author of the original map was likely Nicolas Sanson; publisher was Alexis-Hubert Jaillot; and later editions are only attributed to Guillaume Sanson. 1719 editions omit the Companyland coastline and the Mer de Iesso (both ~Alaska), the Lake Parime that previous editions included; there are also some changes in inner Africa and inner Asia. Other major errors in the map, for example the Californian coastline, were not corrected. A few examples also have a different framing layouts.
