The Messe Wien Turm (Vienna Trade Fair Tower), built in 2004 with the rest of the complex, is a hyperboloid public art sculpture and decorative illuminated tower, and though it looks like a broadcast tower, it is a purely a decorative landmark for branding and marketing purposes. Architects of the Messe Wien: Gustav Peichl, Rudolf F. Weber, Katharina Fröch, Christoph Lechner, Paul Katzberger, Gerhard Moßburger, Norbert Erlach. The Messe Wien (Trade Fair of Vienna) is the largest trade fair in Austria and one of the most important economic factors of Vienna.
