GP1: Mini Cooper S GP JCW (John Cooper Works) was built by Bertone in 2006 in around 2,000 units. It had only two seats, weighed 50 kg less and had a 218 bhp JCW engine. White bodies were transported from England to Italy where Bertone did the finishing work. This was a compensation from BMW that had terminated the contract Bertone had for BMW C1 production.[1]
GP2: The BMW Mini John Cooper Works GP was a factory-built 2012–14, also in around 2,000 units, with 2 seats and 218 bhp.
GP3: The third edition released in 2020. A concept was shown in Frankfurt in 2017.
