English: Montgomery Hills Baptist Church (Petworth–Montgomery Hills Baptist Church) — its first service was held on December 29, 1912, in Petworth, Washington, D.C., and a permanent church organization was established under the name of Petworth Baptist Church. In February 1957, a new church building was completed on Georgia Avenue at Forest Glen Road, and one single church functioned at two sites. On January 13, 1963, the final service was held at the Petworth location, and on January 20, 1963, the church began meeting together as a single congregation in Montgomery Hills.
