Local grade listed Monument of the Battle of Mohács. Other title: Louis II of Hungary memorial place . Inauguration: 1996, inauguration: 1926. In 1526 II. Louis with his army marched toward the Battle of Mohács and rested with his army for three days, from 23 to 27 July in Ercsi, waiting for the troops joining him. In memory of this, installed a plaque on the 400th anniversary of the Battle of Mohács in 1926. The plaque and memorial wall damaged lost under WW2. The memorial plaque of the monument disappeared for a long time. It was found in 1992. A new monument (base) made by mason Attila Mogyorosi, the plaque renewed by stone carver Géza Hajdú. Installed in 1996. Since then, wreath-laying has been held every year on 29 August, the anniversary of the day of the Battle of Mohács (29 August 1526). Plaque inscription: ~ 'On Monday, July 23, 1526, our King Louis II arrived from Érd to Ercsi. Here András Báthory joined him with his troop. From here he sent Palatine István Báthory forward to the camp in Tolna. On Friday the 27th, he set off on the Roman military road leading here to Dunapentele, considering his young life to be Mohács to sacrifice for God, Homeland and the West! Following his mourning, on Monday, September 10, he marched here from Dunapentele and the next day towards Érd and then towards Buda II. Mohácsi csata emlékműve /máshol: II. Lajos emlékhely/ (Avatás: 1996, Avatás: 1926). 1526-ban a mohácsi csatába vonuló II. Lajos seregével három napot pihent, július 23-tól 27-ig Ercsiben, várva a hozzá csatlakozó csapatokat. Ennek emlékére táblát állított az emlékező utókor, a mohácsi csata 400. évfordulóján 1926-ban. Az emlékmű emléktáblája a háború alatt megrongálódott és sokáig nyoma veszett. 1992-ben megtalálták. Új fehér műkő talapzatát készítette Mogyorósi Attila kőműves, az új és a régi tábla feljavítását Hajdú Géza kőfaragó készítette. Felavatva 1996. augusztus 20-án. Azóta minden évben augusztus 29-én a mohácsi csata napjának (1526. augusztus 29.) évfordulóján koszorúzást tartanak.
