The Northern Rockies Conifer Forests Ecoregion is a designated ecoregion by One Earth. It is classified as a Temperate Conifer Forests Biome. It is one of four ecoregions in the Greater Rockies & Mountain Forests Bioregion.
- Note - Clearwater National Forest, Lewis and Clark National Forest, and Lolo National Forest are situated on the southern fringe of this ecoregion; they occupy a transitional area between what can be considered Northern Rockies Conifer Forests and South Central Rockies Forests
