Northwest "Ghost town" Settlement Van Scoy-Edwards Burying Ground East Hampton, Suffolk County, New York, USA
Today, the Paumanok Path runs right alongside the Van Scoy homestead, which is located just beyond the cemetery where the settlers of the property, Isaac Van Scoy and his wife Mercy are buried. It's also near the foundation stones that mark the site of the old schoolhouse which was built in 1827. It was one of the farms of the Northwest woods of East Hamptown town in the 1800s
