English: The Oranasia was a four-masted steel barque built in 1892 by Russell & Co., Port Glasgow (Yard No 292) for J. & W. Goffey, Liverpool. 1907 sold to A.G. Alster, Hamburg, and renamed Alsterfee. 1912 sold to E.C. Schramm & Co., Bremen and in the same year to F.A. Vinnen & Co., Bremen, and renamed Lucy Vinnen. 1919 sold to Nordische Handelsgesellschaft Hackfeld, Fischer GmbH, Hamburg and renamed Tamara VI. 1921 assigned to the Greek Government as war damage compensation and renamed Mayotte. 1922 sold to B. Schulisch, Danzig and 1923 to Wilh. Hemsoth AG, Hamburg (without the proposed renaming in Hedwigh Hemsoth). Broken up in England 1925.[1]
Her dimensions were: length × beam × depth = 306 × 44 × 24.6 ft (93.2 × 13.4 × 7.4 m) and she had a tonnage of 2706 GRT and 2565 NRT.[2][3]
