Pécs Medieval University /aka: Studium Generale/ (Est. 1367, disest. around 1390) The supposed building of the university was excavated between 1978 and 1998. Located in circa 10-20m north of the Cathedral of Pécs. In 2015 reconstructed. The function of the building is disputed, many researchers disagree that the building housed the medieval studium generale. In 2015, a permanent exhibition of university history was opened in the restored building, with significant medieval Gothic sculptural relics - Dóm Square, Belváros (Inner City) neighborhood, Pécs, Baranya County, Hungary.
