English: Rōkyoku (also called naniwa-bushi) is a genre of traditional Japanese narrative singing. Generally accompanied by a shamisen, rōkyoku became very popular in Japan during the first half of the 20th century.
日本語: 浪曲は、明治時代初期から始まった演芸である。「浪花節」(なにわぶし)とも言う。三味線を伴奏に用いて話を語り、歌う。各演題ごとに歌う部分(節)と語り演じる部分(啖呵)を両方持つ。明治時代後期から昭和中期にかけて日本全国で庶民的な人気を博し、大衆文化として、日本の近代文化史・メディア史に欠くことができないものとなった。(ウィキペディア日本語版より)
