Everyone calls it 'radio'. So this category needs some ordening, in order to do so, here is perhaps a helpfull idea:
Category Radio: Transmission of all kinds of signals by electromagnetic radiowaves of the radiospectrum. This cat has two main subcategories: Broadcasting and Telecommunications.
Category Radio Broadcasting: Open transmission by radio waves of sound signals (radio programs), video signals (television programs), data (under various names) from the studio of a radio station, to the reveiver equipment of the general public (via a transmitter or a network, one-way)
Category Radio Telecommunications: Selective transmission by radio waves of the same signals and all other kinds of signals (sound, video, data, etc.) between selected points (person to person, station to station, ship to ship etc.)
Subcategory Wireless communications The name is also widely known for 'radio broadcasting' those media files might find a place in the category 'Radio broadcasting'. All other media files related to wireless applications for short distances (cordless telephones, Bleu tooth, Wi-Fi, etc.) might be placed in the Subcategory 'Wireless communications' of the Category: Radio Telecommunications
