Reber Manufacturing Company was a automobile building offshoot of the Acme Manufacturing Company of Reading, PA, which produced bicycles branded Acme and Stormer. Acme Manufacturing was sold to A. A. Pope's American Bicycle Company about 1901. The Reber Manufacturing Company built a 12 hp car from 1902 to 1903, and as reorganized as the Acme Motor Car Company (see Category:Acme (US) automobiles). It appears that the latter sold at first Reber cars before changing the name to Acme.
