Reinhard Posch is, amongst other, Full Professor for "Applied Information Processing and Communications" since 1984 and head of the Institute of Applied Information Processing and Communications Technology (in German: IAIK) at the Graz University of Technology, Austria, which was created in 1986, due to his activity. He was, up to now, the youngest head of an institute of said university.
