Robert M. Rubin is an American investor, art historian and collector.[1]

He is a well known collector of architectural specialties.[2]

  • Maison Tropicale, prefab metal house designed by Jean Prouvé, donated to Pompidou, 2007.
  • "Kangorou chairs" by Jean Prouvé (bought 2001)
  • Fly's Eye Dome, portable house by Buckminster Fuller, 1965. In 2013 Rubin bought the largest of three (50 feet) and showed it in Toulouse and Amsterdam.
  • Maison de Verre, house in Paris, bought 2005.[3]
  • Bridgehampton Race Circuit on Long Island, NY (bought 1981), used for racing until 1998. Made into the "Bridge" golf course and club, hosting the "The Bridge" car show.[4]

Also, it is claimed[4] he owned Dino racers (196 S, 260 SP), Ferrari 312T, Ferrari 1512.
