English: The Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheater located at 290 Northern Avenue in the Seaport District of Boston, Massachusetts. The venue originally opened in August 1994 near Fan Pier, on the current site of the Moakley US District Courthouse. Due to land rights, the venue closed at the end of its season in 1998 and was relocated to its current location in 1999. The relocated amphitheater opened July 1999 and seats 5,200. The venue's season runs from May until September. Originally called the Haborlights Pavilion, the venue has gone through a number of name changes, primarily due to bank mergers and acquisitions. It has been named, sequentially, the Bank of Boston Pavilion, BankBoston Pavilion (1996), FleetBoston Pavilion (1999), Bank of America Pavilion (2004), Blue Hills Bank Pavilion (2014), and most recently Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion (2018). The Pavilion was bought by Live Nation in 1999. (Partial source: BostonPavilion.net)
