English: The Jeu de Paume de la Bouteille became the first home of the Paris Opera on 16 March 1671, the Guénégaud Theatre in 1673, and the first home of the Comédie-Française in 1680. The theatre closed in 1688, but remnants of the building existed as late as 1868.
