Columbia University's Prentis Hall, home of the Computer Music Center, 632 West 125th Street, Manhattan, New York City, was built 1909–1911 as a bottling and pasteurizing plant and distribution center for the Sheffield Farms–Slawson–Decker Company. When the plant opened in 1911, its address was 162–170 Manhattan Street. (See in this category File:Sanborn V. 7 Plate 092 publ. 1912.jpg). In 1920, the street was made part of 125th Street, and the building numbers were made consistent. By 1934, the plant received a three-bay addition on its southeast side.
