Corner two storey building with corner tower. Built in 1899 as a luxury rental residential/commercial building, on the ground floor there were 19 shops and ten storage rooms. Planned by János Szilágyi. Architectural sculptures made by András Tóth. Its suites were rented by engineers, doctors, judges, officials, shop tenants, as well as companies and bodies. Here was the "English lounge circle" and the Debrecen Industry Board, two library rooms, two reading rooms and, in 1938, the office of the Tax Complaints Committee. Seriusly damaged under WW2. By the 1960s, it had been restored in its almost original form. Its corner tower was only rebuilt in 2003. - 2 Simonffy Street = 27 Piac Street, Inner City, Debrecen, Hajdú-Bihar County, Hungary.
