English: The Siter Cities Bridge in Rochester, NY, was constructed in 1971 in the context of a large-scale endeavour to renew the Genesee Crossroads between State Street and Main Street in the south and up to Andrews Street in the north. The Sister Cities Bridge connects Carroll Plaza to the Sister City Garden (in front of the former Chamber of Commerce). It's shape in form of a “Y” was supposed to provide the framework for a fountain which never worked due to a failed design. (See Sister Cities Bridge by Jon-Paul Dyson.)
