English: The Station Hall is an exhibition area of the National Railway Museum in York. The former York goods depot, it lies on an east-west alignment, fed by tracks from the west in the area now designated South Yard, and with an office building on its east end. It is across Leeman Road from the other large exhibition building to the north, the Great Hall, with the two connected by a subway. Adjacent to its north wall is the Art Gallery space, while the north east corner connects to the visitor shop, subway and City Entrance. It has a number of tracks inside it, used to display rolling stock, although unlike the Great Hall the floor level is raised to platform level, allowing visitors to look inside the stock without climbing on it. The collection in the Station Hall includes the Royal Trains.
