This category is an image set. It should contain only images that have the same style, and should have a parent category that is purely topical.

These subdivided squares can be thought of as a square drawn over a square Cartesian grid. The files have names of the form "Subdivided square a b", where and are numbers (with leading zeroes so they sort correctly). The vertexes of the square are , , , and . The image to the right demonstrates the case where .

These subdivided squares can be divided into three categories:

  • Class I, or "Parallel", where .
  • Class II, or "Diagonal", where .
  • Class III, or "Skew", accounting for all other cases. Class III square are chiral.

All files in this category were created using the Python script located in the author's GitHub repository. Please do not edit these files manually: instead, modify the script and upload ALL the files that have changed. That way, these images will remain consistent with each other.
