The Forum Edition of The March of Time is a 16mm version of selected episodes of the newsreel series for classroom use. Excerpt from The March of Time, 1935–1951 by Raymond Fielding (page 315):

• Sixteen millimeter prints of The March of Time were first made available for educational use through the Association of School Film Libraries around March 1939. beginning in October 1944, the March of Time organization itself began to release 16mm versions of selected MOT releases. These were known as "Forum Editions."
