English: The Tower Building at 5th Avenue and Virginia Streets in Seattle, WA. Designed by Earl W. Morrison and built from late 1929 to mid-1930 on the former James McElroy homestead, it was originally known as the Textile Tower by its builder Arthur Gerbel who planned it for exclusive use by textile wholesalers and manufacturers. Gerbel had also developed the Medical-Dental Building at 5th & Westlake and proposed a second textile tower that would never be built as the Great Depression took hold.
