English: 'Thechikottukavu Ramachandran' (born 1964) is an elephant owned and maintained by Thrissur Peramangalam Villagers under Thechikkottukkavu Bhagavathy Temple, a temple in Kerala. Ramachandran is the most valued elephant in the annual Kerala elephant procession. He is also considered the tallest elephant in Kerala at present.
മലയാളം: ബീഹാറിയായ ഈ ആനയ്ക്ക് 317 സെന്റീമീറ്ററാണ് ഇരിക്കസ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്നുള്ള ഉയരം. ഉടൽനീളം 340 സെന്റീമീറ്ററോളമാണ്. വിരിഞ്ഞ മസ്തകം, കൊഴുത്തുരുണ്ട നീണ്ട ഉടൽ, ഉറച്ച കാലുകൾ, എന്നിവയാണ് രാമചന്ദ്രന്റെ പ്രത്യേകതകൾ. ലക്ഷണമൊത്ത 18 നഖവും നിലംമുട്ടുന്ന തുമ്പിക്കൈയും തലയെടുപ്പുമൊക്കെയുള്ള ഈ ആന എഴുന്നള്ളത്തിന് കോലം കയറ്റിക്കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ തിടമ്പിറക്കുംവരെയും തല എടുത്തുപിടിച്ചുനിൽക്കുമെന്നതാണ് ആകർഷണീയത.
