Tikona is a fort in state of Maharashtra of India. Tikona Fort, also known as Vitandgad, has a storied past dating back to the 13th century. Built by the legendary Maratha ruler, Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, this formidable fort served as an essential strategic outpost during his reign.


Reaching the top of Tikona Fort rewards visitors with panoramic views of the surrounding lush green valleys, pristine lakes, and distant hills. The sunrise and sunset vistas from the fort are a photographer's delight.
