English: The Rugby League Tri-Nations was a tournament involving the top three nations in the sport: Australia, Great Britain and New Zealand. A logical continuation of the format originally used for the Rugby League World Cup's final stages, it was first held in 1999 as the Tri-Series, then in 2004, '05 and '06, before being replaced by the Rugby League Four Nations.
