English: Umm Ali or Om Ali (أم علي) is a traditional Egyptian food made of milk, nuts and flour products. In Egyptian culture myths it is named after the wife of Ezz el-din Aybak as she "invented" it to celebrate her assassination of Shajar al-dorr.
