English: Wootton is a village and also a civil parish in the English county of Oxfordshire. It is located three miles north of Abingdon, and five miles south of Oxford. In 1974 it was transferred from Berkshire. The parish of Wootton includes a number of smaller villages and hamlets, namely: Dry Sandford, Cothill, Henwood, Lamborough Hill, and the western part of Boars Hill. In the 2001 census the population of the parish was 2,632.
