World War I memorial (column) installed c. 1921?. Stone/limestone octogonal column on a nearly cube shapedbase. At the top of the column, a turul bird sits on a stone ball, depicted in an unusual way, the bird locks its wings tightly next to its body. The column has marble tablets and sword reliefs with the names of those killed in World War I, and on the front of the pedestal is the inscription: Pro Patria 1914–1918. On the back of the pedestal you can read the following quote from the Szózat: 'It cannot be that so many hearts shed blood in vain' by Mihály Vörösmarty. The monument is surrounded by a wrought-iron fence with lanterns at the corners. - before (a bit left of) R.C. church on Templom Square, Üllő, Pest County, Hungary.

I. világháborús emlékmű (1921?). Az oszlop tetején egy turulmadár ül egy kőgolyón, szokatlan módon ábrázolva a madár a szárnyait szorosan teste mellé zárja. A közel kocka alakú talapzatra helyezett nyolcszöghasáb? oszlopon márványtáblák és kard domborművek vannak Az I. világháborúban elesettekek neveivel, a talapzaton elől az alábbi felirat olvasható: Pro Patria 1914–1918. A talapzat hátoldalán az alábbi idézet olvasható a Szózatból: 'Az nem lehet, hogy annyi szív Hiába onta vért' Vörösmarty. Az emlékművet kovácsoltvas kerítés veszi körbe ennek sarokrészein lámpásokkal. [1] - Pest vármegye, Üllő, Városközpont, Templom tér, a templomtól balra, a Hősök emlékparkjában(?) található.
