English: The Zeltbahn is the German word for the versatile shelter-half used by the German military. It is a simple, partial tent designed to offer temporary shelter and concealment when combined with one or more sections. The Dreiecks-Zeltbahn or triangle Tarp (tarpaulin) was standard equipment for soldiers in the Wehrmacht during World War II, dating from before the war.

The Zeltbahn was initially introduced in 1931 and originated from the square Reichswehr tent. Constructed from water-repellent material, it features a camouflage pattern. The shelter quarter serves a variety of purposes, including use as a tent, rain poncho/cape, and camouflage aid.
