Deutsch: Der sogenannte Zentralperron war der Mittelbahnsteig des Salzburger Hauptbahnhofs bis zu dessen kompletten Neubau von 2009 bis 2014. Neben den Zugang zu mehreren Bahnsteigen gab es auf dem Zentralperron mehrere Geschäfte sowie die Grenzkontrollstelle nach Deutschland. Das Dach des Zentralperrons steht unter Denkmalschutz; es wurde nach einer Renovierung neu aufgestellt und in die jetzige Bahnsteigüberdachung integriert.
English: The so-called Zentralperron (central platform) of Salzburg main station has been part of the station until its total reconstruction from 2009 to 2014. Besides of giving access to several platforms, the Zentralperron comprised two buildings housing some shops, a restaurant and customs offices (border controls when entering Germany). Its roof has been declared as a cultural heritage monument which has been refurbished and is part of today's platform roofing again.
