AFV

Personally I'd make the Armoured car category in toto a sub category of AFV, however a number of other users dispute this and reverted an attempt to do just that on the grounds that not all armoured cars are AFVs. As a compromise I've offered to create two new cats one for civilian armoured cars and on for military armoured cars, with the new miltary armoured car category becoming a sub cat of boththe existing armoured car category and the AFV category. Before undertaking this I'd like to canvass the opinions of other users, lest it be unwelcome and another user feels it neccessary to revert en-masse.KTo288 02:47, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Slight change of plan, originally I was going to divide the category into two, military armoured cars and civilian armoured cars and move the military armoured car section in its entirity to the AFV section. It'll take a little more work but the plan now is for files and subcats to be categorise the vehicles by country, era and use most of the vehicles will probably end up in the armoured recce section of the AFV cat.KTo288 01:21, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
