Pedestrian chicanes vs. bikeway chicanes

I think, chicanes are acceptable at the entrance of areas or paths that are reserved for pedestrians. And on chicanes installed for that purpose, the term "pedestrian chicanes" is doubtless.

But in the course of a cycletrack, a chicane is neither in favor of pedestrians nor it is a chicane against them. Chiacnes that are simple set against cyclists ought to be called bikeway chicanes. Therefore I've created the Category:Bikeway chicanes and transferred most items from Category:Pedestrian chicanes there.--Ulamm (talk) 14:02, 27 December 2014 (UTC)
