Request for permission for reuse of RIA Novosti images in a publication[edit]

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to place this question, but here I go anyways ...

I want to use some of the RIA Novosti files on wikipedia in a chapter that I have written for a book that is being published by ACANSRS, an academic publisher based out of Cambridge, MA.

The images I want to use are the following:

File:RIAN archive 699865 Dushanbe riots, February 1990.jpg http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:RIAN_archive_699865_Dushanbe_riots,_February_1990.jpg

File:RIAN archive 699860 Massive riots in Dushanbe in February 1990.jpg https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:RIAN_archive_699860_Massive_riots_in_Dushanbe_in_February_1990.jpg

The files are listed under “Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported.” http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/deed.en

On the Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported page at creativecommons.org it states “You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.”

I ask this in all seriousness, am I supposed to provide a link to “http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/deed.en” within the publication?

Any suggestions about how to list the images within the text? I was thinking “RIAN archive image found on Wikipedia.org” and then having the lengthy URL in the back of the book somewhere on an images attribution page.
