Cattle trail vs. auto trail

[edit]

There is a confusion on placement for this category. On the one hand, some of the items are for the Old Spanish Trail that was a cattle trail from Santa Fe to Los Angeles via Colorado and Utah. The others are for the Old Spanish Trail transcontinental automobile trail that began in the late 1910s. This went from St. Augustine, FL to San Diego, CA. These are not the same "trail." - Parsa (talk) 19:10, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I see a lot of that. I also see a category for Category:Old Spanish National Historic Trail that looks more like the cattle trail that you're describing. Sorry to wait this long to reply about this issue. I was almost ready to call for a split of this category. ----DanTD (talk) 17:51, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
