I'm not sure if such vechicles as ISU-122 or Jagdtiger should be in this category. De facto there weren't "tanks". Radomil 12:52, 30 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Fully tracked armored vehicle with gun = tank. A tank must not have a turret. Self-propelled artillery is a subcategory of a tank as well as assault gun or tank hunter/killer. This category is for all types of tanks participating in WW2. --Denniss 19:40, 30 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I asked because in Poland there is a little bit different deffinition. "Tank" - fully tracked armored vehicle with gun in movable turret (only vechicles before FT-17 without turret are called "tanks" due to tradition). Others fully tracked armored vehicle with gun are called "armored guns". Thank's for information. Radomil 22:14, 30 Mar 2005 (UTC)
