- My question is since 7 years: why is the sharpness of the whole image the most important thing in FP? Shall the photographer excuse an image for example because it is a rarity? Ok I give reasons for this image. This image shows one of the rarest plants worldwide. There is only a little number of habitats worldwide. For example: Great Britain has 6 habitats, Ireland 2 habitats, Bavaria 1 habitat. The Global Biodiversity information Facility says: there are only 11 number of occurences by 8 data providers in europe. The place of each habitat is a secret. Only this secret safeguards the survive. I think nearly nobody of the visitors of FP will see in his own life this rare plant in the own habitat.
