  •  Comment How could anyone choose between the many similar images in the category? Charles (talk) 12:12, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Support I reviewed all the images of this subject in Commons and selected the image that I judged to be the best. My choice coincided with the nominator's choice, so I am happy to support it. I am also satisfied that it meets all the criteria for a VI. I must place on record that I made some minor corrections to the English description. Also, this image is not geocoded, but since it has all the characteristics of having been taken in a studio, this is not necessary. Martinvl (talk) 18:36, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Neutral I have decided to withdraw my support for this nomination as we really need better guidance on which people should be eligible for VI status and which should not. To test this, I compared Category:Eleonore Mühlbauer with Category:Angela Merkel. If I wanted a good image of Frau Mühlbauer, I could go straight to her category and choose between 9 images. On the other hand, if wanted an image of Frau Merkel and I went to her category, I would have about 1000 images spread across 20 categories to choose from. In such cases I would press the "Good pictures" icon and 1000 images would be reduced to just 7 good images. I don't want the VI library filled up with images of all the German politicians at national and regional level and all the British politicians at national and regional level and all the French politicians and all the American politicians at Federal and State level and, to use a German expression: "… und, und, und".
