Reason Conus (Dauciconus) daucus, the Carrot Cone, is a species which occurs in the Caribbean. Fossil shells from the Pliocene of Florida (about 2-3 Mio. years ago) are considered to belong to the same species. This is a representative of the fossil - Pliocene - form. -- Llez (talk)
