Scope	Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope: British steam locomotive: LNER Class A3, Number 4472 - Flying Scotsman.

Reason	This image is, in my opinion, the best image in Commons of the 4-6-2 steam engine that drew the iconic train, "The Flying Scotsman" between 1923 and 1964. Between 2006 and 2016 it was overhauled, repainted in its pre-war colours and is now used to haul preserved trains. The image itself shows all the principal features of the engine and in particular the wheel and driving rod arrangements. -- Martinvl (talk)
Review (criteria)	Comment, I would prefer to see a different category linked to the scope, one that reflects the rich collection of images of this train in Commons, and preferably one with this image under it.
