Reason I did not know that there existed photographs of Lamartine. I found and restored a bit this one, ca.1865, which seems very good to me, and far more authentic than the so-called "photography" by Nadar, which is a reproduction of a modern copy and, as we say nowadays, very "overprocessed", even if the original (I've got it) is 10 years older. Best in scope IMO, studio shot, no geocode needed. As for the scope: we don't usually specify, for modern persons, that it is a "photography". But I think that in the case of very old photographs, we can reduce the scope, because photography was very rare, more than paintings or drawings (it is the contrary today).--Jebulon (talk) 15:53, 9 February 2013 (UTC) -- Jebulon (talk)[reply]
