| Reason | Uploaded and restored by me, this file from the BNF, by Nadar, shows the playwright and novellist Mario Uchard (1824-1893). He is completely forgotten now, but I like this picture and this portrait, which looks modern for me, and of very good quality. Original available as first upload in the file history. No geocode, it is a studio shot. But the file is in use of course. Btw, Uchard was the husband of the actress Madeleine Brohan, already portrayed here in VIC. -- Jebulon (talk) |
