*  Comment There is already much better: in the caption it is the reference line which contains the link with the base Joconde. The sheet (alas in French) gives a very interesting history on this canvas and the one I placed next. It seems that they belonged to the Cardinal de Pierre de Bernis. This Cardinal was Prime Minister of Louis XV. But he is best known for having been a friend of Casanova. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 18:10, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
* Comment Yes no problem, but should we put a copy or a sketch? As at this stage the debate remains open I suggest to put: sketch or copy. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 04:53, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment Here is in link the sheet of the painting of Toulouse here : that of Montauban is indeed smaller and has been repainted. So it is very possible that it is a sketch. The author of this painting was the teacher of David. Chance wanted, that I put in the competition, a sketch of David on the same subject. In this case the draft table is indeed smaller and less neat than the different versions that David made.
*  Comment let's add copy. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 04:45, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
