Ganzleder Zeit (Vorderdeckel 155 mm x 94 mm); Rotschnitt; flacher Rücken, unterteilt in 6 Compartiments; rotes Titelschild in Goldprägung (ohne Autor), in den übrigen Feldern florale Goldprägung; schmale Goldrahmung von Vorder- und Hinterdeckel; Spiegel und Vorsätze mit marmoriertem Buntpapier; kleine Holzschnittvignette auf der letzten Seite. - Auf vorderem Vorsatz Anmerkung von alter Hand: "Die alte asiatische Parabel von den drei Ringen, welche Lessing in seinen Nathan herübernahm, trifft das richtige, wie mir scheint. / Nicht die Confession an sich, sondern der Glaube, die Zuneigung, die Überzeugung die das Individuum daran hat, bestimmen ihre Wirkung." / Namenszug [unleserlich]. Zur Identifikation des Druckes: Motto: Jntroite, nam et heic Dii sunt! [recte: Intrate, nam et hic dei sunt!]; Titel ohne den später hinzugefügten Vermerk "Mit Churfürstl. Privilegio" und ohne Angabe des Verlegers (vgl. Abb. Brockhaus-Enzyklopädie, 21. Aufl. (2006) Bd. 2, Seite 686, Artikel "Aufklärung"; das dort abgebildete Exemplar entspricht Wilpert/Gühring Nr. 78, das Exemplar hier Nr.77). - Weitere Merkmale: Auf Seite 1 fehlt der Punkt hinter "wiederkommt". - Seite 95: "reichre Mann" statt "reicher Mann". - Seite 123 fälschlich mit "223" paginiert. - Im 3. Aufzug die Auftritte 8 bis 10 fälschlich mit "Siebenter", "Achter" und "Neunter" überschrieben. PROVENIENZ: Sammlung Adam, Auktion Dr. Tenner Heidelberg 3.
